1) Chipotle Mexican grill

Chipotle grill was founded in 1993 by Chef Steve Ellis and his idea was to come up with a restaurant with affordable, fresh ingredients. Today, it has more than 1500 branches in four countries and has been very successful. From 2000, they started using naturally raised chicken, pork, beef etc. Chipotle restaurants make very delicious foods and they are famously known for their guacamole, burritos and burrito bowls. 2) Baja fresh

Founded in 1990 by Linda and Jim Magglos( later sold to Wendy’s International and later to another company), this California based restaurant emphasizes on fresh ingredients(as their name suggests). Everything is handmade & unprocessed and you will never see a microwave, a can opener, MSG, lard or freezers at any of their locations( more than 200 locations). One can enjoy roasted vegetables, beans, rice, cilantro, onions, and salsa verde with a choice of pork carnitas steak, chicken, line caught fish, grilled fish, and premium burritos.

3) Moe’s Southwest Grill

Its first location was opened in Atlanta in 2000 and later became part of Foccs Brands in 2007. They are known for their high quality ingredients and crazy menus and they promise steroid free & grain fed pork, cage free chicken, organic tofu as well as grass fed steak. Like Baja fresh, microwaves and MSGs can not be found here .They specialize in burrito with beans, rice, cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, and any choice of meat. They also have funk meister tacos. Their ingredients are almost the same as those of burrito only that they are served on crispy corn tortilla or flour.

4) Taco Bell

This is the most known, and largest Mexican chain restaurant that was founded in 1962 by Glen Bell. Today, there are more than 4600 taco bell branches around the world and the company is worth billions. They mainly specialize in taco menus especially the Doritos Locos Taco whose main ingredients are lettuce, ground beef and cheese stuffed in a crispy shell seasoned with Doritos.

5) Odoba

This Mexican grill was opened in Denver in 1995 by Robert Hauser & Anthony Miller and was formally known as Zuma then later Z-tega. Today, they are found in more than 600 locations and they famous for their mission style burritos (concept adopted from san Francisco). The burritos can be customized with options like shredded beef, roasted chile, ancho-chile barbecue, fajita vegetables and a 3 cheese queso.
